Lisaard & Innisfree Hospice offers a tranquil, home-like alternative for people whose death is approaching, and our specially-trained staff and volunteers support residents and their loved ones through the end-of-life journey.
Our Social Worker is available to support and counsel residents and families during their time in our Houses. We can discuss matters affecting residents and families, and connect individuals with additional community resources.
Spiritual Care is provided both in the community and in our Houses. Spiritual Care creates a safe space for difficult conversations and helps define a sense of purpose, allowing individuals to find meaning in their unique spiritual path.
Our Music Therapist meets with residents and families, providing music styles from opera to heavy metal - and everything in between. With musical fluency in English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish, she can help support residents from other cultures.
Our Art from the Heart legacy program is available to all residents and their families. Residents have found meaning in being able to celebrate their life, acknowledge their dying, and connect with their loved ones through these art and music projects.
Our Bereavement Coordinator stays in touch with family members, and calls someone in each family after the death of a resident to check on their well-being, provide bereavement support, and share additional resources if needed.
