SweetHearts for Hospice are Back!

In partnership with local businesses, and bakers, we are pleased to help you celebrate Valentine’s Day with our special SweetHearts for Hospice goodie boxes! These goodie boxes are good for you and good for us – by picking up treats for someone sweet, you’ll be helping support our Art from the Heart legacy program.

About the initiative

For $25 each, our SweetHearts for Hospice are boxed, ribboned, and ready to go. We have been working to fill our goodie bags with treats like handmade cookies, candies, Reids chocolates, cozy hot chocolate, and popcorn – perfect for sweet and savory snacking. And again this year, there’s a finite supply of SweetHearts for Hospice – don’t miss out!

About our Art from the Heart legacy program

“The past two years, our SweetHearts for Hospice fundraiser has completely sold out, so it was an easy decision to offer them again this year,” remarks Chris Kotseff, Board Chair, “and, again, we’ll allocate the proceeds to our Art from the Heart program. This is a special set of projects families can choose from to help create works of art with their loved one, resulting in a wonderful memento. And Art from the Heart – like all our support and services – is free of charge for our residents and families.”

“Valentine’s Day can mean different things to different people, and at its core, it’s an opportunity to celebrate the fondness and appreciation we have for the people who matter most to us. Our SweetHearts are a fun way to demonstrate that affection while at the same time extending support for those undergoing a difficult time,” explains Maria Empringham, Executive Director. “The kindness of our SweetHearts extends beyond the gift you’re giving your friends, partners, or kids – it’s helping our families create lasting memories of their loved one through unique pieces of art.”
