We are so grateful for your support, and would like to help you understand the impacts of the postal strike on your donations – especially now that the season of giving is here.
Donations
If you usually mail us your donation, you are welcome to visit us in person at either House to drop off your gift – we’d love to see you! You can also use a credit card to complete your donation through one of the secure options we have available here on our website.
Tax Receipts
During the postal strike, we can’t guarantee when you will receive your income tax receipt by mail – but you can choose to have it delivered to you electronically! Please ensure you include your email address with your donation, and a digital copy will be sent to you as soon as it’s created.
If you don’t mind the uncertainty and are willing to wait, paper receipts will be mailed once the postal strike has concluded. Though we have no way of knowing when this will happen, we can assure you we’ll get receipts in the mail as soon as possible.
Our Holiday Fundraising Campaign
The postal strike arrived just as we were about to send out our winter newsletter, which means we have thousands of letters waiting to be sent! Please click here to read Joan & Jack’s story, and there is a link within this story to direct your donation to our holiday fundraiser.
Your support is essential to the care and compassion we provide every day, and 100% of your donations stay local to help residents and families at a difficult time.
Thank you for your understanding and your generosity.
