It’s a Matter of Life & Death

We know talking about end-of-life can be tough – please join us for an online information session including live Q&A that helps demystify hospice & palliative care on Tue Nov 30, 6:30-8:00pm.

Our Executive Director Andrea Binkle will facilitate a talk with special guests about Hospice/Palliative Care: what it is, and how to access our care and services. Our panelists are:

  • Family Physician Janet Zettel who has worked in KW for over 20 years; initially part of a team providing palliative consultations in both the hospital and our community, then stepped back from hospital-based palliative care to provide palliative care to patients in her Practice in addition to hospice-based palliative care at Lisaard House for 20 years, and Innisfree House since 2015
  • Manager of the Hospice & Palliative Care team and the Regional Palliative Care Network for Home and Community Care Support Services Waterloo Wellington Paula Sampaio. Paula has led and supported many key initiatives in palliative care and integration of services in Waterloo Wellington, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and a Masters Certificate in Health Care Management from York University
